Autumn

Autumn arrived so quickly for me and I absolutely love the Autumn colours especially in photo's so between the showers of rain I took my two crazy boys for a mini photoshoot and this is what I got from them...

The leaf throwing just had to be done and I love the expressions I caught!

I love the way how two brothers interact with eachother, I didn't have to do a thing!

The Boys really enjoyed writting and drawing on the chalk board.

Last Summer Shoot

My last summer photoshoot of the year was for a family I have previously photographed.  I love it when Clients return for more :) This family is challenging but that's what makes it fun!  With 6 Children aged 9-1 years anything could happen!!  Here is a couple of my favourites from the shoot...

Mr & Mrs Smith

In August I had the privilage of photographing my brother's wedding.  It was such a beautiful day and the rain stayed away for us :) I started in the hotel room with the Brial party, then they were married at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and then later had a ceremony at the London England Temple.  It was a really lovely and personal service.  I loved being able to capture the true love that these two have for each other.  Now they can start their happily ever after...

I absolutely love the Grooms face in this picture, this is such a treasurable moment that has been caught and never lost!

This picture wasn't staged and so cute I had to capture it striaght away before the moment passed!

Nature

I really love nature and every time I walk past pretty flowers or see something unusual I think to myself that would make a great picture.  My newest addition to my kit is a Nikon Micro lens so I have now been able to capture those pictures.  Here are a few of my recent captures.

I found this caterpillar in my garden, I have never seen one like this before!

This ugly creature was trying to get some shade, I had no idea what it was, it turns out to be an Elephant Hawk Moth and although looks quite ugly now grows into a beautiful pink moth.  I would like to get a picture of it then!

I actually have a phobia of bees but find it quite calming taking pictures of them in flowers.  I especially love the details of the wings in this picture.

Roses are very beautiful and one of my favourite flowers!

Back after the Summer holidays

The summer holidays have now come to an end but it's also the start of new beginnings for my two boys.  Aiden my eldest boy started primary school and Harley my youngest started preschool.  Both were extremely excited to start which made it a lot easier for me.  I took a few quick snaps the morning on their first day.

The Dormer's

It's always great working for friends especially when they keep asking for more shoots.  We went to a wooded park for this shoot and it was much colder then what it seemed and although the children were quite cold we managed to get some great shots from them.

The Kirkups

It's been a little while since I've published anything on my blog so I'm doing a bit of a catch up.

A few weeks a go I had the privilage of shooting the Kirkup Family.  The weather was forcast to rain but when the shoot came the sun was shinning so we took the opportunity to have the shoot outside as orginally planned.  It really makes such a difference when the weather is kind!

Baby Ava was so cute but unfortunately wasn't her best that day, but I was able to get a few cute pictures of her!

What a lovely family, it was lovely shooting you all espcially at this exciting time for them as they now have their first grand child!
